I’ve been looking at eco shoes this week. There are some great designs out there and you need not put fashion and style second when you are being kind to the planet.
1. Izzy Lane Jane Blacks are a real treat and practical too with their flat soles. Handmade in Britain from linen with a patent toecap and they’re also approved by the Vegan Society. Sizes run from 3 to 8 and they are priced at £149.
2. Volley Men’s Trainers from Ascension are made from organic cotton and the soles are rubber. They’re available in either red or khaki at a price of £72.
3. Skippies are a good looking boys’ trainer in classic black. They are made from hemp, organic cotton and post consumer paper pulp. They look great and are very reasonably priced at £20.
