My son seems to have decided that cots are for babies and that he is no longer a baby, so I’ve started my quest for finding him a eco-friendly toddler bedroom. There is quite a lot out there for babies, but less for the slightly older age group, so I’ve had to spend quite a lot of time searching.
I like this fresh green slightly funky African print duvet set. It’s made from 100% organic cotton with ivory nut buttons. There’s a duvet cover and pillow that comes in a cotbed size only. Available from Spirit of Nature for £31.50. It also comes in white/yellow and that set is currently reduced in price to £29.95.
I think it’s important to ensure that the basics of bedding are organically produced too, as a child spends such a large proportion of their life in bed. So I like this organic duvet available in sizes up to cotbed size. The filling of the duvet is made from a warm and cozy fleece material. It’s easy to keep clean as it can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees. Available from Buy Organics from £62.61.
