The Boo Boo Skincare range was developed by two mums, Jenn and Corinna. They wanted to buy affordable, luxurious natural skincare products for their babies and, when they couldn’t find anything suitable, they decided to develop their own baby care range! All Boo Boo products are free from parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, synthetic colours and DEA. They are all made in the UK and come in recyclable bottles. There are lots of wonderful, pampering products on the website, but here are a few of my favourites:

For mummies to be, the Super Stretchy Miracle Oil (£13.99 for 100ml) is a must. Made with Argan Oil, which is rich in Omega 6 and 9, Super Sretchy Miracle Oil nourishes, firms and helps put the elasticity back in your skin. Oils of passion-flower and sweet almond also help soothe the skin, making this great for reducing the appearance of healed scars as well as helping to prevent stretch marks. This oil was a real hit with Brenda when she reviewed it recently.

For children, Boo Boo’s Soft and Splashy Bubbles (£6.99 for 250ml) are ideal. All children love to have a bath full of bubbles and it’s great to know that this bubble bath is kind, gentle and suitable for even the most sensitive of skin. Soft and Splashy Bubbles contains Tahitian Monoi from Tiare blossoms, which hydrate and protect your child’s skin, as well as marshmallow plant extract to moisturise, and oats to gently cleanse the skin. The bubbles also contain added olive oil, coconut oil and chamomile to leave your child’s skin really soft and smooth.

If you know a mum to be, then the Mummy and Me Pamper Kit (£29.99) would make a wonderful gift to the new mum and baby. This lovely little flip-top box contains a gorgeous set of goodies designed to pamper new mums and look after baby’s gentle skin. The box contains Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak and Super Stretchy Miracle Oil for mums, and Baby Top to Toe Wash, Baby Kind and Creamy Lotion and Baby Soothing Bottom Butter for babies.

My final choice is the Magic Balm. Made from moisturising natural oils such as cocoa seed oil, palm kernel oil and olive oil, the Magic Balm is 100% natural and can be used anywhere your skin needs some extra nourishment. The balm helps relieve dry skin and helps to prevent chapping. The Magic Balm costs £10.99 for a 30ml pot.
