Over at my social media business workITgibraltar, we are constantly explaining to clients how important social media is to a marketing strategy and for creating new relationships. Most of which is based on personal experience some of which has been garnered from running TGF. Recently I have posted on my personal Facebook account updates from Spanish Stray Dogs, a group of volunteers who are dedicated to helping rescue and rehome abandoned animals in the South of Spain.

Natalie from Precious Parcels has been a Facebook angel, since reading this she has thrown herself 110% into helping Spanish Stray Dogs raise awareness and money to help pay for medication and food which is desperately needed. As you know I am constantly on the hunt for newborn gifts. My friend has requested an organic teddy for her newborn…so I went to The Organic Toy Company. They have a huge range of organic teddies just waiting for new homes.

I have several friends who are due to have babies this month, so I have been looking to see what kind of gifts are out there. The problem is that because most people know I spend most of my time online looking at things, there is a feeling that I have to come up with the best pressies!

Sometimes at Christmas I think we can get carried away with events, presents, cards and paper, forgetting about the effect on the environment, so it’s nice to be able to find some pretty products that use recycled materials in clever ways.

I love these gift tags that are made from old Christmas Cards. They measure 4.7cm x 3.1cm and come in packs of 10 each with a short red thread attached. They are blank on the reverse so that you can add a short message before attaching them to your gifts.
