Charity Auction for the Cheshire & North Wales Human Milk Bank

Baby led parenting forum, The Bundle Jungle, are holding a charity auction for the Cheshire and North Wales human milk bank on 6th September.  However, previews are now available to view.

Cheshire and North Wales Milk Bank is a charity organisation funded entirely by donations and fundraising which has, in turn, led to life saving breastmilk donations to countless premature and vulnerable babies.  Elle, who runs The Bundle Jungle, is very passionate about the cause having been a milk donor herself.

“I’m very enthusiastic about all aspects of breastfeeding and breastmilk and, since the birth of my own daughter, 9 months ago, I have been heavily involved in various forms of breastfeeding support, activism and charitywork. My eyes were quickly opened to the miraculous abilities of this life giving substance and, at the same time, of the tragic lack of support for those who need it most”. Elle – The Bundle Jungle

Generous donations to the auction include various eco-friendly and baby-friendly products, from re-usable breast pads and bespoke cloth nappies to hypnobirthing CDs and bespoke silver charms – there’s a little something for everyone. Members of The Bundle Jungle will be able to begin bidding from September 6th, with several of the 50+ auctions being run each day, right up to September 19th.

The Bundle Jungle is a pregnancy and parenting with a baby led focus.  Founded in early 2010 the site is growing and expanding considerably all
the time. The Owner, Elle, created the site as a support network for all parents and parents to be with a special focus on filling the gap between
“Natural” and “Mainstream” parenting.

“In the beginning we noticed that many pregnancy and parenting forums tend to be either very typically “mainstream” parenting or, on the flipside, passionate about “natural” parenting and this has led to many parents feeling as though they should be one or the other when, in reality, most of us fall somewhere in between.
