Cool clothes for kids from The Urban Meadow

If you are in search of trendy clothes for your little ones, made by designers who are conscious about the environment, but also refuse to compromise on quality, then look no further than The Urban Meadow.

All their items are fairtrade, and many are also made from organic materials. There is a wide range of brands, all of whom share the same vision of a sustainable future, including Greenbaby, Bamboo Baby and Little Lark.

As well as clothing for boys and girls, babies are not forgotten. I have fallen for the Babysoy rose kimono bodysuit; beautiful colour and design, and made from soyfibre (machine washable, vBabysoy rose kimono bodysuitery important!). This material is perfect now we are entering the cooler autumn/winter months, as it is particularly efficient at retaining warmth. I especially like the front-fastening design, which strangely you do not find amongst many other baby bodysuits, yet many babies (in their early weeks/months) particularly dislike having clothes pulled over their heads. If all the aforementioned features were not enough, this item is currently reduced to £6 (from £9). Absolute bargain.

There are many other items currently on sale at The Urban Meadow, with up to 50% off, and free p&p for all UK orders. Don’t miss out!

L'Asticot red&navy dressOne of their featured products is this beautiful red and navy dress from L’Asticot (a new Swiss brand). Made from 92% organic cotton, it is simple, stylish, and can be worn either as a party dress, or just for play time. On sale at £32 (reduced from £38), you’d better snap up this fairtrade bargain before they run out of stock!
