Countryside meets city – British formula natural anti-age range launches in Selfridges
Combining a love of the British countryside with a passion for natural anti-ageing skin and hair care, the Natural Empathy range of luxury products launches in Selfridges Oxford Street store on 2 July.
Made with extra virgin, cold-pressed rapeseed oil grown from a single seed variety at Yellow Fields farm in Northumberland, the paraben and sulphate free Natural Empathy range of skincare products combines specially blended pure organic essential oils – up to 12 per formulation – with naturally derived vitamins and clever natural active ingredients.Britain’s superior answer to olive oil, rape seed oil is one of the most natural and healthy oils in existence – richer and more nutritive, easily absorbed and wonderfully softening – even the farmers on the Yellow Fields farms use this natural product to protect their skin from the elements.
Designed to both pamper and protect, the range includes natural anti-ageing facial moisturisers including a men’s moisturising skin conditioner, hand and body washes, body butter, bath milk, shampoo and conditioner.
Selfridges, impressed with the quality of the ingredients, British-made ethos and performance of the products, will include the range in their main Beauty hall for two weeks from 2 July, and from there will be housed in the Living Beauty section for at least three more months.
The Natural Empathy range is produced by the Stuckey family who live in Northumberland close to the Yellow Fields farm where the main and key ingredient, rape seed oil, is grown and pressed for the products.
Mother and daughter Beverley and Maddy Stuckey of Empathy Skincare, who together with polymer scientist husband and father Philip, personally formulated the often complex blends of essential oils which make each individual product work in harmony with the body and senses to create a feeling of well-being inside and out.
The range’s stunning designs are inspired by British legend William Morris, who famously said “Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
