The annual Fairtrade Fortnight event will be held this year between 27th February and 11th March. The Fairtrade Foundation creates opportunities for farmers and workers in disadvantaged communities, giving them a better chance to work their way out of poverty through fairer wages and safer conditions.

Dr. Bronner’s is a US company that campaigns for organic quality and fairtrade morals. In every Dr Bronner’s product the ingredients are guaranteed to be 100% natural and organic and, most importantly, FAIRTRADE, having been sourced from India, Ghana, Palestine, Israel and Sri Lanka. Dr Bronner’s contains no synthetic foaming agents, thickeners, preservatives, fragrances, dyes or whiteners and use 100% post consumer recycled (PCR) cylinder bottles and paper labels. In 2003 every Dr Bronner’s product became officially certified organic by the US Department of Agriculture and every year they continue to give away between 30-70% of profits (after tax income) to charities working on a range of different projects and funding.
Dr Bronner’s Magic Soaps have 18-in-1 different uses! Use them for washing your hair, body and teeth, but also to clean your home, your pets and maybe even your car! It is no wonder that Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps has a celebrity following, counting Natalie Portman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sandra Bullock amongst their fans. The Magic Soaps come in several different gorgeous fragrances; Peppermint, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Citrus, Almond, Rose, unscented Baby Mild and Tea Tree.

Fairtrade Fortnight invites you to take a step to assist every farmer and worker in the Fairtrade system in the hope of achieving 1.5 million steps by the end of 2012. Simply trying a new Fairtrade product will count towards their total. So by changing to Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps you could be taking your first Fairtrade step and having an impact on life-changing projects in developing countries.
