Fab bags from Cape Gem

This week I’ve been severely tempted by the great bags that Cape Gem are selling.  They’ve currently got a sale on, so it’s a good time to  buy.

All Cape Gem’s products are ethically produced and there are some great pieces to choose from.  I’ve picked out a few of my favourites to show you.  There are plenty more to choose from on their website too.

I particularly love this Hot Squares Shoulder Bag with a handy zip fastening.  It’s made from recycled materials and each bag is unique as it’s made by hand.  There’s a leather strap and a funky polka dot lining.  It’s a great bag to add a bit of colour to an outfit and you could easily use it in the evening, as well as during the day.  It’s priced at £69 normally, but the sale price is £52.

Cape Gem’s Funky Satchel is just right for when you have a little bit more to carry around with you. It would be great for work, if you’re able to be a little unconventional, and as it’s big enough to cope with a 14 inch laptop, it’s a practical option too.  It’s fun looks mean that it can be used when you’re out to play too.  This design has a pretty pink and polka dot design on a beige background, with a checked lining inside which gives it a lovely fresh feel.  I love its slightly retro looks with the traditional satchel leather straps and fasteners.  The price is £149.

For overnight stops, I’d pick up this Lagoon Tortoise Overnight Bag. Each bag measures 400x330x130mm, so it’s a good size for a weekend away.  There’s a zip fastening and it’s lined with a matching polka dot print fabric. Again, it’s handcrafted so every bag is an individual.  The list price is £135, but it’s currently available for £99.
