I’ve been looking around for a garden bench for our newly landscaped garden and wondered what environmentally friendly options were available. Kedel use recycled and recyclable materials for their products to give a reduced carbon footprint. Their recycled plastic comes from Britain and they have a strong environmental policy.
This Thames Garden Bench is good looking as well as practical. Made entirely from British recycled plastic, they will last up to 50 years and unlike wood there’s no need for paint or varnish, in fact the only maintenance needed is the occasional wipe down with soapy water to keep it clean. They’ll
also be easy to dry (if you wish to) after a rain shower. It’s available in 3 different colour choices and is priced at £230. You can also buy a memorial brass effect plaque for it, if you wish for £40.
Kedel offer quite a wide selection of garden bench styles. This Croal 3 Seater Bench boasts strong, clean lines and looks like it would provide a welcome resting place in your garden. It’s available in 2 colours and you can choose from 2 lengths of leg. The price is £199.50. It’s also available in a backless version.

Teak garden benches look great and are built out of high quality wood. The only drawback is that they will cost you a pretty penny.
