I was sorting out my envelopes for recycling the other day (I keep some for scrap paper and some security envelopes for up-cycling) and I wondered who else re-uses their security envelopes in fun ways.  It turns out there are quite a few people who do!sweetie pie press

The easiest thing to do is to turn them into new envelopes to use as Eco Monster does – such an simple way to re-use those envelopes without a window!

girl industriesThe Sweetie Pie Press makes it easy for you to show off your recycling credentials with these super sweet badges. Is it wrong that I am jealous of other peoples security envelopes! Look at those colours!

These mini thank you cards are perfect for saying thanks without wasting card or paper as even the background card has been rescued from the recycling bin. Get them from Girl Industries.blood and gold

This is an interesting way to use up security envelopes. Blood and Gold can customise letters for you so if you only want a name instead of a full alphabet then that isn’t a problem.sarah nicole philips

This piece of original artwork from Sarah Nicole Philips took my breath away. It is so detailed and uses the patterns of security envelopes perfectly.
