One problem that faces people when recycling is storage of the recycled goods, so anything that makes life easier there is an essential in my book.

The Can Crusher can be mounted on the wall and is very easy to use as all you need to do is pull it down and voila the can is crushed and can be put in the appropriate bag for recylcing. It also has an inbuilt bottle opener. Available from Little Green Earthlets for £9.99.

The Hailo Multi box pullout recycling and compost bin is a practical built-in waster separator with 2 x 15l inner bins which sit on a rail to pull them out.
