I look forward to when the bambino and I can do arts and crafty stuff together as it will give me an opportunity to unleash the big child within. Being creative and art were huge parts of my childhood and I even taught 2-16 year olds at my art school when I was a teenager, so I can certainly appreciate a book like Green Crafts for Children by Emma Hardy.
It’s not just about making their own toys, games, gifts, and ornaments, but incorporating items that have been adapted or recycled making them green crafts.
You don’t have to go traipsing around the shops looking for the items and instead the crafts are likely to contain items that can be easily found around the house or garden. It even teaches them how to make salt dough, gives methods for easy felting, and has lots of ideas for pretend and imaginative play, and who knows how many gifts your little ones can make.
Green Crafts for Children is £14.99, but you can get it for £9.09 at Amazon via our Bambino Goodies Amazon Store.
