I find that girls are much easier at boys at doing this, although my middle boy is a saver, but my eldest is a nightmare and has been since very little!

Love this article - we have been encouraging our 8 year old daughter to do the spend and save piece for 2 years - it was hard to start with but she has really taken to it. This third strand is very powerful for me. She has already really started looking after clothes, toys and books so she can pass these on so it will be a natural additional focus. Thank you! Now the challenge is my 5 year old son who's values seem to be be currently based on destroy destroy destroy!
