Homeware from Swings and Pretty Things
Swings and Pretty Things have a lovely range of products to add a finishing touch or two to your home interior. I’ve picked out just a few of my favourites, that I think would look great in a kitchen or hallway, to share with you.
This lovely Door Stop has a fab dog print and is great for holding doors open. It’s made from oil cloth, so it’s both shower proof & wipeable. Hence, it doesn’t matter if gets a bit wet or dirty (always important in a house with children in it). As it’s showerproof you can use it on doors that open outwards too without having to worry about the ground being a bit damp. There’s also a lovely apple print available if you prefer. The dog motif door stop comes empty and you fill it yourself with rice, wheat or similar. Supplying the door stops empty reduces transportation space and weight, which is ,of course, better for the environment. It’s priced at £19.95. I think this would look completely gorgeous propping open the back door.
Looking for somewhere to store your keys? How about this quirky Recycled Slate & Spoon Rack? It’s made by reusing old vintage teaspoons on slate, so each one will be slightly different and unique. It can be used for hanging keys in a hallway or tea towels in the kitchen. The slate has been drilled on each side making hanging it onto a wall a little easier. It’s priced at £23.49.
