I have been waiting all week to get the go-ahead to share with you all the exciting news of a new website called www.earthkeeper.com.
Now many of you will not be familiar with this site, but you will probably have heard of the name Timberland. They are the company behind it, who are trying to create a more ethical business. Plans for 2010 include becoming ‘carbon-neutral’, which means they will be able to fully reduce or offset the greenhouse gas emissions produced by Timberland owned and operated facilities. They also run an environmental stewardship programme, which has the ethos of trying to make things better for the planet at the core of all its business discussions.
With this in mind they have designed a collection of Earthkeeper boots, shoes and accessories for men, women and children, which features their repair, reuse and repurpose ideals. At present you can click through to the main UK Timberland shop www.timberlandonline.co.uk and see their Earthkeeper collection on sale
Timberland are also throwing their considerable weight behind the Haiti rescue operation and on their site you can find out more about what they are doing to help.
On www.earthkeepers.com you can sign up to join their Earthkeeper movement, grab their specially designed hero widget and many other exciting things just waiting for you to check them out.
