Love the REAL You, is a revolution which aims to change the way girls and young women think and feel about themselves, which was founded by entrepreneur and life coach Lara Williams in June 2012. Love the REAL You teaches girls to be REAL instead of striving to become something or someone they are not – as a teenage girl myself I understand and have experienced the pressure that can be placed on teenage girls to be ‘perfect’ nowadays thus appreciate the necessity and benefit of such a revolution.
Lara Williams, founder of the revolution, is an experienced life coach who has coached and mentored hundreds of girls and young women over the last sixteen years. Her biggest passion has always been to help girls and young women drop the desire to achieve perfection and to concentrate on being REAL. Lara states, “Too many girls are growing up in today’s society believing that in order to achieve happiness and success they have to look and behave a certain way. This leads to so many girls striving to become something or someone they’re not, which only leads to long term unhappiness”
Love the REAL You was established out of Lara’s frustration for the number of girls and young women who are failing to achieve their REAL potential because they don’t feel good enough. REAL stands for Respect, Embrace, Accept & Love the REAL You – these are the principles of being REAL. Lara teaches the principles of REAL when working directly with girls and young women and by speaking in schools and at her events.
As well as this, Love the REAL You produces natural skincare products, specifically for young and delicate skin. Girls and young women love to experiment with personal care products, so what better way for Lara to re-enforce her REAL principles, than through creating something that girls are really interested in?
Lara wants the REAL principles to be understood by every teenage girl in the United Kingdom. If they haven’t had the opportunity to work with Lara, or to hear her speak, they can connect via Facebook and Twitter and by also using REAL skincare. Each time girls apply the skincare they will be reminded of the importance of the REAL principles! – REAL products do not contain parabens, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, silicones or sulphates – making them even better!
