Natural Baby Toiletries
A couple of years ago I reviewed some Beaming Baby products for TGF and they remain favourites, so much so that I’m still using them on my 3 year old. Beaming Baby offer a nice range of natural baby toiletries including shampoo/bodywash, bubble bath and body lotion. They’re reasonably priced starting at £3.99 for 250ml and are widely available.
They’re made from hydrating organic aloe vera and skin nourishing natural orange blossom gives a soothing, calming bathtime. Being free from alcohol, paraben preservatives, sodium laureth sulphate, synthetic perfume and colouring, there are no nasties there for your baby.
After baby’s bathtime, how about reaching for this lovely dusting powder from Burt’s Bees. It’s talc-free, being made from highly absorbent cornstarch, and it’s fragranced with powdered herbs and flowers. The blend of herbs is designed to gently soothe any chafing, prickly heat or other skin irritation. As well as being talc-free, it also avoids the use of phthalates and parabens. Priced at £6.99.
Sadly, nappy rash seems to figure at some point in every baby’s life with teething times being particularly prone to it. I like this Earth Friendly Baby’s Organic Red Clover Cream as the solution. It’s has been carefully designed to provide effective relief from discomfort caused by nappy rash or sore skin and other minor skin irritations. It’s got no artificial colouring, fragrances, parabens or SLS to worry about. Priced at £5.49 for a 113g tube.
