One of the easiest ways to reduce our plastic bag dependency is to switch to re-usuable shopping bags. Whether you buy the biggie ones from the supermarket or you opt for a smaller canvas/cotton style. I personally use a mix of both, depending on where I am going shopping.
Here are a few ideas of cool and trendy bags that you can choose from.
Keep Calm and Carry On Shopping - You have a choice of 2 types of re-usuable shopping bag with this old WWII poster saying , having had an updated feel given to it. Choose from a 5 colour choice. Available from Catherine Colebrook. Prices are £8 or £12.
H
appy Jack Tote Bag - Made from 100% cotton, a colourful and fun version of the Union Jack. Printed on sturdy white canvas with shoulder straps. Available from Sweet Home London. Price is £14.
Drysdale Mixed Fruits Shopping Bag - Made from recycled juice cartons, this is a favourite of ours here at TGF. The bag is roomy, has an inner divider and canvas lined handles. Size is 11 x 11 x 7 in. Available from Bits n Bobs for £9.50.
