The start of recycle week (22-28 June 2009) will soon be here and I am getting really excited about my pledge for the week…it is to recycle all old clothes that have either seen better days or are too small for the kids.
So why not join me in making a pledge, www.recyclenow.com have come up with 10 wonderful pledges that are easy to manage. If you do decide to make a pledge, let me know and I will give you a mention on one of my daily blog posts next week.1 Recycle bottles and cans while I’m out and about.
Home compost all my kitchen and garden waste.
Squash and recycle all my cartons.
Recycle all my glass bottles and jars.
Recycle all my newspapers and magazines.
Recycle all my wast electrical products.
Reuse my carrier bags.
Use my leftovers for lunch the next day.
Choose peat-free compost.
Look for the new recycling labels when I’m shopping.
