Reusable Advent Calendars

Advent is coming up fast now. This year I’ve been thinking about investing in a reusable advent calendar. In the longer term it may well save me money and it should be kinder on the environment too. It’s more flexible too as you can choose what’s right for your children. You might decide on a mix of small toys and chocolates or have a present for each of your children each day.
This handsome Wooden Advent Calendar House with Individual Drawers from Gisela Graham would look lovely in any home. It’s got that classic Christmas red and white colour scheme with a Christmas trees in snow scene for decoration. Each individual drawer has a tiny handle. It’s priced at £32.75.
If you prefer a felt calendar that you can hang up on the wall or the back of the door, then maybe you’ll like this one from Little Cherry. Each of the pouches has an elasticated top to stop peeking. This calendar costs £19.99.
This Wooden Advent House from John Lewis has a bit of an alpine feel to it. There’s a door for every day and it’s an attractive decoration in its own right too. Better still 10% of the purchase price of each one sold will be donated to Shelter.
