This week I have had a look at storage baskets as they are a favourite of mine, as I always need them whether it is for the kids toys or for storing stuff in.
Seagrass Large Storage Basket – Made from natural seagrass by a small family run business in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is really big and spacious and perfect for so many uses maybe use it as a laundry basket. Available from BiomeLifestyle for £15.
Square Storage Basket
Available in 3 glorious colours (cream, slate or crimson), these very strong yet soft to touch, simple but elegant baskets, can be used for a multitude of tasks. Made by a fairtrade organisation in Bangladesh for Caroline McGrath, they are made using AZO free dyes and no harmful chemicals. Available to buy from Not on the High Street for £30. Was £45.
Date Palm Basket
This super gorgeous decorative storage basket would look good in my house! Made from Kaisa Leaf and Date Palm, it is made under fairtrade conditions by a womens co-operative in Bangladesh. Available from Love-Eco for 22.99.
