Sustainable Style Shopping Event
The hottest ethical brands in the world are being showcased for the first time in London at a sustainable style shopping event being held at 67 Old Street in London. The event is being hosted by Jocelyn Whipple, leading light of Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge, together with Jill Heller, owner of New York’s legendary Pure Thread boutique.
Pure Thread London is a fantastic opportunity to see, feel and buy some of the world’s hottest sustainable style brands. This is an exclusive opportunity to revamp your wardrobe and make a change to your thinking at the same time. “We think UK consumers deserve access to this fashion”, Jocelyn said. “These are the brands the UK fashionistas haven’t been able to get their hands on as our High Street continues to favour mass produced clothes where the story of production and fibre is obscured. Jill and I have selected the very best in the world. They cut it in every way.”
Pure Thread will feature an exclusive edit of sustainable style from Autumn Winter 12 collections by Jocelyn Whipple including Ada Zanditon, Beautiful Soul, Bottletop, Charini, From Somewhere, Junky Styling, Front Row Society, Right as Rain and many others. There will also be some hand-picked bespoke items and vintage collections on sale as well as beautiful ethical accessories and organic skincare by Nourish.
This event, running until 26th October, will prove that style and ethical shopping are truly compatible. Go along to 67 Old Street, London EC1V 9HW between 11am and 8pm (Sunday by appointment) to view and buy some of the world’s hottest sustainable style brands.
