What is it?

Scent Free Children´s Sun Lotion SPF25 from Green People.

Who is reviewing it?

My 4 year old nephew and myself who has very fair and sensitive skin.

Set Up

It comes in a 150ml tube which is easy to open and use. It is suitable for Vegetarians. Ideally you have to apply liberally to the skin 30 minutes before going out in the sun. If you are going swimming make sure you re-apply it afterwards.

Any negatives

No none, as it was fragrance free so it was great for sensitive skin and it was not too thick so easy to rub in.

Overall

This is a brilliant natural, scent-free, water-resistant and non-greasy sun cream which will protect your kids from harmful UVA/UVB rays and can also help protect sensitive adults as well.

In Use

We all really liked this sanitiser with its foam anti-bacterial leaves sticky fingers and faces germ free and clean. My boys especially liked the citrus fragrance and the foam! The labelling on the bottle give clear instructions and the product is also suitable for cleaning high chairs and toys with a cloth and is 96% certified organic.

What is it? Children’s Bath & Shower Citrus & Aloe Vera – A product from Green People’s Organic Children range.

Who is reviewing it? I’ve used it when bathing my son. He’s given his opinion too.

Set Up It’s a natural body wash is made without SLS/SLES, parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrances. Ingredients include aloe vera, ylang ylang and mandarin oils.

In Use It’s really easy to use. It comes in a squeezy tube, so no glass bottles to break and it’s easy to get it all out. The gel has a lovely and fresh scent, plus you can definitely smell the oranges. My son’s skin was dried out after use; his skin felt soft and he smelled citrusy.

Any Negatives None

Price and Availability It’s available from Green People for £7.75 for 200ml.

Overall It’s a great shower and bath gel for children and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it in the future.

Green People are delighted to announce the arrival of their first Certified Organic toothpaste. Already pioneering to provide toothpastes free from the chemical nasties and irritants found in most mainstream pastes, Green People have re-formulated their toothpastes to bring you NEW EcoCert approved products.

It’s Fairtrade Fortnight from 28 February to 13 March, so it seemed good timing to look at some fairtrade baby skincare.

Soothing Baby Salve is 97% organic and is rich in Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids which are essential for healthy skin. It’s great for nappy rash and designed to provide quick relief for baby’s sensitive skin. The Baby Salve is water-resistant so it’s ideal for use on skin that is often gets damp. As well as been certified organic by the Soil Association, it’s also made from fairtrade certified (Fairtrade Foundation) shea butter. Also, in the formulation are hemp, calendula and lavender to help reduce inflammation and soreness of the skin. I thought this one would be perfect for a day when dad’s in charge of nappy changing. It’s a long sleeved baby vest, so perfect for a winter baby or for layering, and it’s made from fairly traded, high quality, heavy weight 100% organic cotton. The print on the front of the garments is produced without using nasty chemical dyes. As you’d expect the poppers are nickel free and the vests have soft seams and care labels inside for comfort. There’s a range of slogans to choose from including my favourite ‘nappy loading’ and ‘I only cry at ugly people’. It’s available in size 0-6 months and costs £12.99.
