Todays TGF Ethical Christmas Gift List focus is on gifts for sisters.

One of my favourites this Christmas is this colourful and fun pom pom scarf from Peruvian knitwear. It’s a big cosy scarf ideal for cold winter mornings and it’s made from a blend of alpaca and acrylic. As it’s nice and long, it can be wrapped round a couple of times to keep cold winds out. It’s a lovely rich purple colour, with pink and purple pom poms at the ends to add a little frivolity. It’s priced at £40.

This Angel’s Delight gift set from Celtic Herbal is a therapeutic collection of natural, relaxing treats, and also includes a wooden heart keepsake. First of all, there’s a purifying and soothing Bath Oil with Rose Grapefruit and Lavender followed by the moisturising handmade Angel Soap . For tired hands there’s seasonally appropriate Frankincense and Orange Hand Balm and for chapped winter lips try the Lip Balm with Honey and Lemon. The price is £24.95.

A good looking and practical gift would be these pink striped bed socks from Boutiko. They’re made from soft lambswool and come in size 5-7. They cost £16 and there is also a matching hot water bottle cover that is available separately.

This lovely satchel from NV London Calcutta is one that you’ll be tempted to keep for yourself, rather than give as a gift. It’s made from soft buffalo hide with a cotton lining and antiqued brass fittings. There’s an internal mobile phone pocket and a pouch for any bits and pieces. On the outside there’s a concealed zipped safety pocket. It’s handmade and ethically produced in Calcutta using local materials. It’s priced at £120.

Another great gift idea comes from Seasalt in the shape of this Jenny Is T shirt. It’s one of a range of 4: 2 plain in cadmium green or indian red, and 2 striped in gabo stripe and nut grove.
