Autumn Hot List: Girls’ Clothes

Following on from my autumn hot list for boys, I’ve been looking at girls’ clothes for the new autumn season and here are a few of my favourites.

1. This chocolate coloured, bamboo dress looks fabulous. Any little girl would love to wear it, because it looks lovely and bamboo is so soft and comfortable to wear. It’s great to find girls’ clothes without any pink on them, as pink seems to be almost a girl’s uniform colour these days. It’s available in sizes 3 months to 3 years from Bamboo Baby and is priced at £30.

2.Cardigans are a great way to layer up as the days get cooler and this Frugi swing cardigan would be ideal. I love the fact that it’s made from organic cotton rather than wool. I personally find wool irritating to wear and I worry that my child may be the same, so I try to avoid it. The cable styling gives this cardy quite a traditional feel and it’s comes in a choice of two colours: fushia and grey marl. Available from We love Frugi for £29.50 in sizes 2-6 years.

3. Another great way to layer up this autumn/winter would be this hooded, sweatshirt style jacket from Tatty Bumpkin. It’s comes in burnt orange and is made from organic cotton. I like this one from Animal Tails with it’s great lime green colour and colourful moth motif.
