What is it? I was delighted to be sent 3 products from Voya’s body range to test: shower gel (Squeaky Clean), body lotion(Softly Does It) and hand cream (Handy to Have).

Who is testing it? Me.

Set Up Voya’s range of body care products are made from wild seaweed extracts and organic essential oils. The seaweed is sustainably hand-harvested by Voya, which is a family run Irish business. All their packaging is either recycled, recyclable or biodegradable. Their products have recently been launched in the UK.

In Use All the products I tested were very easy to use and had a lovely fresh sea air scent, presumably thanks to the seaweed extracts. Squeaky Clean, their shower gel, was refreshing to use and left my skin clean without having a drying effect. Softly Does It, a body lotion, went on easily. It didn’t immediately disappear into the skin, but did so within 30 seconds. The hand cream, Handy to Have, left my hands feeling soft and smooth.

Any Negatives I suppose some people might find the time the body lotion takes to absorb too long, but I rush around in the morning and it didn’t prove a problem for me. For very dry hands, the hand cream might not be strong enough, but it was very pleasant to use and comes in a handbag friendly tube.

Price and Availability Squeaky Clean costs £14 for 200ml, Softly Does It comes in at £23 for 200ml and Handy to Have is priced at £13.80. They are all available from Voya.

Overall Great range of products – I loved the smell of the sea.
