TGF Rated Review: Anjaly Yoga Pants
A little over a year ago, I had the chance to try Ivengar Yoga whilst on holiday. I found it very beneficial, so once my son had started school, I found a local class. After attending classes for over a year now, I’m at the stage of thinking about getting some specifically designed clothes and equipment. So I jumped at the chance to try out some Anjaly Yoga Pants.
What is it? Anjaly is run by yoga practitioners and teachers, so their clothing has been designed with yoga in mind.
Who is reviewing it? Me: still quite a novice, but hopefully now improving.
I tried out the Bamboo Skinny Pants. The fabric used is 95% organic bamboo and 5% lycra which gives them their relaxed skinny shape. There are side pockets too, which obviously can’t be used when you are practising.
In Use These pants are very soft and comfortable to wear. The skinny shape means I can wear them under other clothes on my way to my class (useful on colder days) or they can be worn on their own. The skinny fit also allows your teacher to check that you are performing the moves correctly. I thought printing the label onto the fabric was a nice touch which means no itchy labels. The fabric seems to be of a good texture for yoga as I felt it helped me (compared to my usual yoga clothes) with the tree pose.
Any Negatives None. They feel so nice to wear and are suitable for yoga.
Price and Availability They currently priced at 65 euros and available online from Anjaly.
Overall Good yoga pants and eco friendly too.
