TGF Rated Review: Bentley Organic Baby Care Range

What is it?: Bentley Organic‘s mission is to make organic lifestyle choices available to everyone, whatever their budget. One of their key philosophies is to be ‘Of the Earth, not costing the Earth’, and all their products are great value for money. Every product is also certified by the Soil Association, ensuring that they have not been tested on animals and do not contain ingredients of animal origin, and are free from parabens, GMO and petro-chemicals. None of their products contain SLS or SLES.
I have been trying the Bentley Organic Baby Care Range, which includes soap, baby oil, hair and body wash and baby lotion. A Toy Sanitzer is also available. I recently tried this too and you can read my review of this brilliant product here.
Who is testing it? Me and my two daughters aged 2 and 5.
In use: The first thing I noticed about the Baby Range is that all the products smell wonderful. They are fragranced with a blend of sweet orange, lavender, grapefruit, lemon and rose geranium oil – absolutely gorgeous. The fragrance is quite subtle so it’s not too over-powering for babies and children, but it does make all the products feel really special to use.
Our favourite product was the Baby Wash. It lathers up really well and was perfect for cleaning my messy youngest daughter! It can also be used as a shampoo and made the girls’ hair really clean and shiny. Their hair smelt lovely too! Best of all though, the Baby Wash makes a wonderful bubble bath! Just a few squirts and the bath was filled with beautifully fragranced bubbles that my daughters loved. We’ll definitely be buying a lot more of this.
The Baby Lotion is really creamy and a little goes a very long way so it’s excellent value for money. It has a wonderful citrus smell and leaves the skin feeling really soft. I must admit that, as well as using this on my daughters, I used quite a bit of this myself too! The Baby Oil has the same fantastic smell but in a rich mix of Sunflower and Jojoba oils, so it’s very good for dry skin. It’s very easy to warm in your hands and is perfect for massaging your baby after their bath (older children like it too!)
As well as being ideal for washing the delicate skin of babies, we found the gentle, glycerin Baby Soap perfect for toddlers and young children too. My daughters are always washing their hands so we kept this soap bar by the sink for them to use. It contains honey and aloe vera so it kept their hands really soft and it’s just the right size for little hands to use. They both really enjoyed using this.
The Baby Wash, Baby Lotion and Baby Oil come in plastic bottles with flip-top lids, making them very easy to use. They are made from HDPE plastic, so when you’ve finished the bottles they can be washed out and recycled.

Price and Availability: The Baby Care Range is available from several online retailers including Big Green Smile, So Organic and The Organic Body Care Shop. The Baby Wash, Baby Lotion and Baby Oil all cost £4.99 for 250ml and the Baby Soap costs £2.99 for a 125g bar.
Other products: Bentley Organic produce several other ranges including a Home Care Range, Hair Care Range and a Body Care Range. I have been lucky enough to review several of their products before including the Hand Sanitizer and Calming and Moisturising Body Care products.
Overall: I love this whole range and would thoroughly recommend it. It’s excellent value for money and the Body Wash is one of the best we have used. All the products smell gorgeous and would make a great gift for a baby or toddler.
