TGF Rated Review: Bentley Organic Calming and Moisturising Body Range

What is it? Bentley Organic produce a range of hair and body care products, as well as cleaning products for the home and a baby care range. All their products are certified by the Soil Association, ensuring that they do not contain parabens, GMO or petro-chemicals. They are not tested on animals, nor do they contain ingredients of animal origin and they are free from SLS and SLES.

Bentley Organic believe that you should not have to pay a premium for organic products and all their products are very reasonably priced.

Who is testing it? Me, with help from my husband and two little girls.

In Use: I tested four products from the Calming and Moisturising Body Range, all costing between £3 and £5. They contain aloe vera and jojoba to help moisturise dry skin and keep it hydrated. They also have a gorgeous subtle lavender aroma to help promote relaxation.

The Calming and Moisturising Handwash is great for the kitchen or bathroom. It comes in a handy pump dispenser so it’s very easy to use. With two children around I am always washing my hands and I often get dry patches of skin when I use ordinary handwashes. As well as being great at cleansing, this handwash was very moisturising and left my hands feeling very soft. It had a lovely delicate lavender aroma.

My favourite product was the Calming and Moisturising Bar Soap, perfect for the bathroom. This felt very moisturising and it smells wonderful. My daughter liked using this because it feels so soft on your skin.

Bentley Organic Calming and Moisturisng Body Lotion Another great product is the Calming and Moisturising Body Wash. At just £3.95 this is excellent value for money and it was a real pleasure to use. It left my skin clean and soft and is easy to use as it comes in a flip-top bottle. A little goes a very long way and creates lots of lavender scented lather. I am always in a rush in the morning, but using this in the shower always calmed me down – the fragrance is so relaxing.

Finally I tested the Calming and Moisturising Body Lotion. Again, a little goes a long way so this is excellent value for money. The lotion has a delicate lavender fragrance and is quite light so it was quick to apply and easy to rub in. It left my dry skin feeling very moisturised and is great for dry elbows and knees.

The products I tested are also available in the following ranges if you prefer something different: detoxifying, smoothing, revitalising and deep cleansing.

Any negatives: Personally, I would have preferred it if the fragrance of the products had been a little stronger,but that’s just because I love lavender! However, they still smelt wonderful and I’m sure my husband wouldn’t have been as keen to use the handwash and soap if it they had a very strong fragrance!

All the products I tested are excellent value for money. The 150g Organic Soap Bar costs £3, the body lotion costs £4.99 for 250ml and the handwash (250ml) and body wash (250ml) both cost £3.95.

Overall: I love all the products I have tested. I’ve really enjoyed using the Bentley Organics body care range and will definitely use them again in future. On the strength of the products I have tested, I also plan to buy some of the hair care range and home products and give those a try too!

Bentley Organic Soap Bentley Organics’ reasonable prices make it possible to use organic body care products on a daily basis, even if you are on a budget. They’re also great gift ideas and would make lovely presents.
