alm_lgBounce Balls are designed as a convenient way for health-concious people to eat tasty and nutritious snacks on the go. There are five varieties of Bounce Balls and all are made from 100% natural ingredients. There are also wheat, dairy, gluten and GM varieties, so there’s something for everyone.

Who is testing it? Me, a very hungry mummy of two who is always on the look out for a nice, healthy snack!

In use: I had never heard of Bounce Balls before I tried these, but I can’t believe how delicious they taste! I tried three different balls: the Premium Protein Ball, the Spirulina Ginseng Ball and the Almond Protein Ball. They all tasted really good, but my favourite by far was the Almond Protein Ball. The Almond Protein Ball is naturally sweetened with grape juice and it had a lovely sweet, nutty taste. It was also very moist and chewy. Completely yummy in fact! The Almond Ball is wheat, gluten and GM free.

The Premium Protein Ball is another delicious sweet and chewy nutty ball. It contains lots of low GI peanuts and is wheat, gluten and GM free. Finally I tried the Spirulina Ginseng Ball. This contains the superfoods Ginseng, Spirulina and Fo-Ti Root and is packed with naturally present antioxidants and vitamins. I felt very healthy when I was eating it! The Spirulina Ginseng Ball is wheat, dairy and GM free.

spi_lgI found all the Bounce Balls really convenient to use. They are individually wrapped and aren’t too big, so they are ideal for keeping in a bag to eat when you are out. As well as tasting delicious, they are also very filling and I found that a Bounce Ball mid-morning was just what I needed to give me the energy to run around after my two daughters and keep hunger at bay until lunchtime. I can understand why they are so popular in gyms and with sports players. It’s really good to know that you are eating such a healthy, natural snack.

Price and Availability: All Bounce Protein Balls can be bought online at Bounce Snack Foods website. They cost £16.99 for a pack of 12 (£1.42 per ball) or £54.90 for 40 balls (£1.37 per ball). They are also sold in some Waitrose stores and many health food shops, so it’s worth visiting their stockists page to find your nearest stockist.

Overall: These balls all tasted really good and are packed with protein to really satisfy hunger pangs and give lots of energy. They are perfect for eating on the go and are ideal for people who like natural, additive free  food. I would definitely recommend them.

TGF Rating: 4.5/5 as they cost more than I would usually spend on a snack, but definitely 5/5 for taste!
