Set Up

Ecover is a brand that uses natural, sustainable plant-based ingredients. They care about the environment, but also understand the need for cleaning products that provide quality results. This Oven and Hob Cleaner, which comes in a container made from recyclable plastic, is described as a “powerful degreaser”, made from effective plant-based and mineral ingredients, with a fresh citrus fragrance.

I found this cleaner to be extremely effective. In short, it does what it claims to do. I used it after cooking spaghetti bolognaise, so the hob was covered in oily tomato grease. A small amount of the Ecover Cleaner later, and it was as good as new. Very impressed, one happy mother!

Any negatives

This isn’t a negative, more of a warning not to use too much – one squirt is enough for a standard size hob. That’s all it takes to give a squeaky clean result with not a smear in sight. So it is economical as well as effective.

Overall

A fresh-smelling eco-friendly powerful cleaning product, that does what busy people need it to do; cleans as much as possible, in as short a time as possible.
