TGF Rated Review: Green Baby Organic Hand Sanitiser

What is it? Keeping hands clean is an important way of preventing the spread of illnesses such as Swine Flu and Gastroenteritis. Hand sanitisers are a convenient alternative to washing hands with soap and water and they keep hands clean and germ-free. The Organic Certified Moisturising Hand Sanitiser from Green Baby is 100% natural and is odourless and paraben-free. It contains 62% organic ingredients and is certified by ECOCERT France.

Who is testing it? Me.

In use: Green Baby’s Hand Sanitiser is very easy and convenient to use. It comes in a small plastic bottle with a flip-top lid so it’s ideal for keeping in your bag and using when you are out. To use the Hand Sanitiser you simply squeeze a few drops of the gel into the palm of your hand, then massage all over until the gel has been absorbed and your hands feel dry.

The Green Baby Hand Sanitisier contains Organic Aloe Vera leaf extract to help keep hands moisturised and it certainly seemed very gentle when I used it. I have very dry hands which are easily irritated, but I had no problems at all with this. It’s also lovely to use a hand sanitiser that is fragrance free.

Any negatives? Like many hand sanitisers, this one does contain alcohol. Although this does make it very easy to use and effective, some people may prefer to use a hand sanitiser that was alcohol free.

Price and availability: The Organic Hand Sanitiser is available from Green Baby. It costs £5.95 for a 99ml bottle.

Overall: It’s great to find a hand sanitiser that is certified organic and is fragrance-free. This was very nice to use and is great if you have sensitive skin. Definitely one to keep in your bag so you can keep your hands clean and germ-free.

Verdict: 4 / 5

  3. Thanks for the great review, glad you liked it, it’s a great new product for us, and great to pop in your handbag or nappy changing bag too if you are caught out nowhere near a hand basin!
