TGF Rated Review: Handmade Party Bags and Cards from Sonny and Alfie

I was lucky enough to received the beautiful handmade samples from Sonny and Alfie recently.  It is so refreshing to see handmade and UK based WAHM (work at home mums) taking delight in offering unique products and services.  I love receiving cards and sending them, especially ones that are not run of the mill.

What is it?

A handmade party bag, handmade birthday card, handmade party invitation and handmade thank you note.

Set Up

The party bag and cards can all be made from a choice of 16 different types of fabric, mine have the train pattern and the bunny pattern.  All handmade you get to choose the fabrics and wording you would like on the website, in easy to follow instructions.

In Use

The cards and envelopes are made from recycled paper and the clear biodegradable and compostable bag they come in is made from corn starch.  They are easy to write on, and sturdy.  The party bag is made from lovely fabric that is limited, so please check that they have enough in stock for the amount you may wish.  The party bag is well made and the size is 17 x 12cm so perfect for popping in a few bits for the kiddies to take home, it also has colour co-ordinated tie cords depending on the fabric chosen.

Any negatives?

No none that I can think of.

Price

For the bags, they are £3.99 each or £15.96 for 5.  For the cards, they are £2.96 each or £11.96 for 5.  For the party invites, they are £2.99 each or £11.96 for 5.

Overall

If you are looking to make your childs party stand out from the rest, then this is a great option.  You get to personalise the bags, cards and invites to your theme and at the same time use an eco-friendly option by doing so.
