nappy change protecting balm Last year we were lucky enough to review the new baby gift pack from Maclarens Beginning range, if you missed the post, check it out here. So when I visited the Natural and Organics Product Show last week, it was really nice to meet up with the girls from Maclaren and chat for a few minutes. I ended up with another couple of samples to try out, the supporting belly balm and the protecting nappy change balm.

The lovely thing about this products are that they are made from organic beginnings. I managed to ask a heavily pregnant friend of mine to try the supporting belly balm and this is what she said; ” Oh my goodness I love this, the smell is divine, the balm is like a moisturiser that smooths on easily and absorbs quickly so that by the time I am ready to get dressed there is no sticky residue. It says you can use it whilst pregnant and after, I definitely will.” It is made from pure organic shea butter and rosehip, which is what gives it the lovely smell.

My godson was the lucky boy chosen to try out the protecting nappy change balm, his mummy had this to say; ” This nappy balm is gorgeous. It has a lovely delicate fragrance which just makes you want to snuggle up with you baby even more. It says apply a thin layer over, once you have cleaned the nappy area or if it is sore or you wish extra protection at night a slightly thicker layer. I had to do both as we had a nappy rash to begin with, due to some naughty teeth coming through! This seemed to soothe the soreness as normally he would have a winge as you try and smooth the cream over, but he was as good as gold.” Made from pure organic lavender, chamomile, shea butter and aloe, this is available to buy from Bloomsbury Store for £9 for 250ml.
