TGF Rated Review: Organic Monkey Products

Organic Monkey “Hello Mellow” organic massage oil and “Bumfluff” nappy balm.

I was very keen to try these, as they are the first Fairtrade baby products in the UK. They are nicely packaged and smell wonderful – lavender and chamomile. The nappy balm is a solid oil (think lip balm in a tub) rather than a cream, so I’m never sure if I’ve put on too much or too little, but I used it on a very sore-looking patch of nappy rash and it was healed overnight, so I’m convinced it’s good stuff. The massage oil is lovely and light and rubs in easily but without needing too much for one use.

I suppose it’s a bit of a churlish thing to say, but although they smell lovely, they do smell like every other organic baby product out there – can someone please try something new? That said, I notice the nappy balm does also come in an unscented option.
