Snoozeshade.
Who is reviewing it?
Ellie and baby Rory. We have a Quinny Buzz, which is what we tested the Snoozeshade on.
In use
Snoozeshade comes in its own bag, for ease of storage, and comes out and packs away nice and easily. You attach the shade to the buggy by means of a series of bright yellow velcro tags which are strategically positioned around the edge to allow it to fit pretty much any singly buggy or carry cot. It certainly seemed to fit the Dreami fine, since I checked it on that too – although we don’t use it any more. It’s SPF 50 so you know it’s providing good protection from the sun for your wee one. There’s a zip in the middle so you can check on the baby without having to take it off. And it comes with a free keyring with trolley coin – they know their market!
Any negatives?
To be honest, Rory didn’t actually like being so enclosed. But then, we don’t use our buggy very often, choosing to baby-wear more often, and I imagine that was the main reason.
Price and availability
Available to buy from Snoozeshade for £19.99.
Overall
If you have a baby who needs total darkness to sleep (Gina Ford, anyone?), or want a substantial shade from sun, this is perfect for the job.

The Snoozeshade is just perfect for Spain and hot weather; used it at the beach, strolling through the towns and particularly in the evenings; every night was like a honeymoon, baby Tom slept through every meal and straight through the night and his “siestas” were longer than ever! Really good product for us; also perfect for stopping the flies from bothering him at lunchtimes. Well done Snooozeshade for a great product.
I recommend snoozeshade to all my clients! It is a brilliant way to help your baby to sleep whilst you are out and about .And it means that your baby can still stick to naptimes and not be overtired and grumpy!
