A book that helps children learn about reducing their carbon footprint, by doing crafts that actively encourage reducing, reusing and recycling materials.
Who is testing it?
My daughter
Set up
A paperback A4 size book that is bright and glossy looking, so appeals to the children.
In use
Inside the book are 16 different craft assignments from creating a clean green apron, through to green-fingered genius. All activities have easy to read and understand illustrated steps to achieve the tasks. As I am not that crafty myself I left the book on the shelf until her nan came and between them they had a ball, creating lots of wonderful crafts from scrap material.
Any negatives
No, apart from the fact that missy wants to do more!
Price and availability
Available to buy from Lion Children’s Books for £5.99.
Overall
A great crafts book, which will entertain and amuse your children on those rainy days, but at the same time, try to instil the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
