TGF Rated Review: Tropical Wholefoods Fairtrade Apricot Kernels

I was lucky enough to be sent through the post a selection of Apricot Kernels from Tropical Wholefoods. Being veggie, I am a bit of a nut eater. So I was very excited to try them out.
I got to try out the following: fairtrade apricot kernels, fairtrade apricot kernels chilli roast and fairtrade apricot kernels tamari soya roast. Delicious is how I would describe them, even the kids liked them. Have now got to go and buy some more as we have finished our packets.
You can eat them on their own as a snack or you can add them to your cooking, I added them into a salad and also a stirfry I was making. If I had to choose a favourite, probably the chilli roast, although my son says the plain apricot kernels is the best.
The packaging is fun to look at and they come in handy 50g sizes, just perfect for a packed lunch.
I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody as a nutritious snack or addition to your cooking.

Wonderful – these are absolutely delicious! Perfect to snack on at work or share with friends over a beer or glass of wine. My favourite are the chilli roast – mmm mmm!

all lovely but chilli roast especially so. and there are sharing pots now!!
I enjoyed the tamari soya roast most, but the chilli ones were great too. We put them out for 150 guests at The launch of The Fair Traders Co-operative and none were left at the end. Thumbs up 5 stars

So love the apricot and chilli roast, keep a good supply in the cupboard to share with friends, be good to find in more supermarkets and independents…….. love the tastes and love all Tropical Wholefood products, you rockxx
