TGF Rated Review: Vileda Naturals

What is it? Vileda have developed a new range of Naturals cloths, which are all made from renewable resources or recycled materials.  I was sent a selection of the new range to test: multi purpose cloths, sponge cloths, all purpose cloths and kitchen cloths.

Who is reviewing it? Me and the family.

Set Up The kitchen cloth has been produced to be versatile, long lasting and ideal for kitchen surfaces and dishes.  Vileda have worked to design a cloth that absorbs moisture efficiently and wipes surfaces dry.  It is made from environmentally friendly organic cotton.

The sponge cloth has been created to be durable and robust, able to wipe surfaces dry without smearing. It is 100% biodegradable.  The all purpose cloth can be used as a dish cloth or to clean surfaces.  The multi-purpose cloths come in a pack of 8 and can be used for a range of purposes.  They are also biodegradable.

In Use All the products we tested were fit for purpose and easily as good as less environmentally friendly equivalent designs.  The kitchen cloth is absorbent and I found it ideal for both dealing with potty training accidents and drying wet cats. The multi-purpose cloths are great for cleaning up anything horrid and as they are biodegradable they can be composed after use.  The sponge cloth is an effective cleaning cloth in the kitchen or the bathroom.  Whilst the all purpose cloth does well as a dishcloth.

The cloths can either be washed by hand or put in the washing machine at 40°C. All the packaging can be recycled after use.
