TGF Rated Review: Vileda Naturals Mop

What is it? The Vileda Naturals Flat Mop is a collapsible mop with a replaceable pad. The pad fibres are made from organic cotton and recycled materials. It’s suitable for use on wood, laminate and tiled floors.

Who is reviewing it? Me, the housewife.  We’ve got wood, vinyl and tiled floors in our house and I’ve tested it out on all of these floor surfaces.

Set Up You remove the pad from the mop and place in water.  Then you wring it out until just damp, with your hands, and replace on the mop.  Then run the mop over the surface you want to clean.

In Use It’s easy to use and it’s not difficult to wring out the mop pad.  It was effective at cleaning on all the surfaces that I tried it on.

Any Negatives It’s a minor point really, but you need to keep your rubber gloves on to mop as you’ll need to keep putting your hands back in the water when rinsing the pad out.

Price and Availability It’s widely available and priced at £9.99.

Overall A good quality mop that you can use on any hard floor surface.  I particularly liked the fact that you could buy a replacement pad.
