I love to find those little finishing touches that really make an outfit…it might be a piece of jewellry, a belt or a pair of shoes. The Green Apple do a lovely range of eco-friendly accessories and I’ve picked out a few of my favourite items.
This beautiful bow motif bag, designed by Sarah Donegan, is hand made from environmentally friendly linen and is lined with vintage fabrics. It would look fantastic all year round, but it would be ideal to match up with a spring wedding outfit. There’s a magnetic snap closure to help keep your bits and pieces secure. Keep yourself warm through the cold snap with this lovely snug scarf. It’s made from a hemp and organic cotton mix. One great feature is the pockets at the front designed to keep your hands warm. It comes in 3 colours: chocolate, olive and raspberry. Available from The Green Apple for £20.
This Vintage Word Game Ring is really quirky and fun. It’s made from letter tiles from game sets (I’m sure you can work out which game they come from) that are unusable for their original purpose. Lots of letters are available so you can probably pick out one for your initial. You can buy one from The Green Apple for £3.95.
