Trevarno Organic Skincare
We’ve recently been to Cornwall and while there I heard about the lovely Trevarno Country Estate Gardens. As well as the beautiful gardens, the estate also houses the National Museum of Gardening. It’s somewhere I would love to have visited but unfortunately it was too far from where we were staying. However, I can still have a little bit of Trevarno at home thanks to the wonderful Organic Trevarno Skincare range.
Trevarno Skincare were the first beauty company to meet The Organic Farmers and Growers standards to gain formal organic certification. Locally grown West Country herbs are used in the products and sustainable palm oil is obtained from a producer who works closely with the Worldwide Fund for Nature. Trevarno’s beautiful packaging was inspired by the estate’s resident peacocks.
There are so many wonderful skincare products available from Trevarno that it’s hard to pick a favourite. Top of the list though has to be these gorgeous organic soaps, handmade on the Trevarno Estate. A boxed set of 5 soaps costs £16.50 and would make a lovely present, although to be honest I would find it very hard to give these away! The soaps are also available individually. Another product which caught my eye was the Barrier Cream (£11 for 30ml, £15 for 60ml). I have very dry hands and this protective hand cream looks like it would be perfect for me. The Barrier Cream has emollient and nourishing properties and contains one of my favourite fragrances – Organic Lavender Flower Water
