Virgin Atlantic Eco Bags
Brenda writes…
Designed by Worn Again these gorgeous, on trend, eco-friendly bags come in a range of 4 styles. There is a limited edition run of 2000 bags so get in quick.
Worn Again are working with Virgin Atlantic to try to meet its goal to reduce the waste it sends to landfill sites by 50% by 2012 and this is one of the ways of eating into this goal.
The bags are made out of old Virgin Atlantic seat covers and other recycled products for example: car seat belts and old Glastonbury tents.
Made in a small family run workshop in Portugal, no bags will be the same as they are being made from recycled products.
Prices start from £25 up to £65, which as we all know in handbag terms is far from expensive!

Will have a look at their website in a minute!
Old car seat belts and tents as material for eco bags? That’s innovation at its finest, recycling at its best.
I consider myself as a hard-core advocate of following the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. In fact, I use these large promotional tote bags as reusable shopping bags. I got them as giveaways during an eco-seminar a few months ago, and I’m still using them. In a way, I have helped reduce the waste dumped in our local landfill.
