Why not make your own body scrub for Silky Smooth Skin?

With Homemade beauty products increasing in popularity when TGF came across Dr Bronner’s soaps we thought it was something fun and interesting that would intrigue our readers. Dr Bronner’shave created a simple yet effective recipe in order to make the perfect scrub for silky, smooth and soft skin, which would be brilliant for pre-holiday preparation and post – holiday TLC making this product one of your new summer beauty essentials!

Dr Bronner’s soaps are certainly taking creativity to a whole new level, inviting you to make your own delicious body scrub with Baby Mild Soap! Dr Bronner’s Baby Mild Soap is constructed of a gentle, unscented formulation which is suitable for all skin types which results in perfectly polished skin.

If you thought that creating your very own tailored body scrub was difficult then think again, as it couldn’t be simpler to achieve beautifully soft skin in just three easy to follow steps using Baby Mild Soap! Take a look below:

  1. Prefer a scent? If you are in need of calm and tranquillity simply add two to three drops of ylang ylang or if your skin is looking lacklustre, experience your body scrub using rosehip seed oil, formulated to tighten, tone and brighten dull skin! Once you have selected your favoured oil just add to the soap and gently mix for an even blend.
  2. Choose you’re preferred exfoliator. Sugar and coffee granules are ideal exfoliator options!  As both gently remove dead skin cells whilst improving circulation. Coffee granules not only aid in detoxifying the body, but they also help reduce varicose veins, whilst banishing cellulite (one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets!). In a similar manner, sugar granules soften dry, rough patches to smooth those hardened elbows, knees and heels! Once you have selected your exfoliator, gently mix into the baby mild soap for an even consistency.
  3. Apply your bespoke body scrub and see the brilliant results! Whilst in the shower, evenly cover the entire body and with a hot cleansing cloth or flannel, work in small circular movements upwards for the best results!

To make things even better Dr Bronner’s Liquid Soaps contain no synthetic foaming agents, thickeners, preservatives, fragrances, dyes or whiteners and use 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) cylinder bottles and paper labels! As well as this each and every one of Dr Bronner’s products is USDA and Fair Trade certified, with large portions of profits (between 30% to 70%) being donated to different charities each year.

So why not give it a try and treat your skin to a unique and luscious experience? Each bottle of Dr Bronner’s Baby Mild Soap costs just £5.49! To find your nearest stockist call 0845 072 5825 or visit www.kinetic4health.co.uk / www.asos.com.
