There’s more than just a nip in the air now and it’s time to get out the winter coat.  If you find that your’s has seen better days, then you may be thinking about buying a new one.  There are some great environmentally friendly coats out there that will keep you cosy and warm this winter.

This beauty of an Eco Coat is from Cabbages and Roses.  It’s over-sized, raglan sleeve wool coat. It’s flatteringly cut too and there’s plenty of room in it for layering up in the coldest weather.  It’s priced at £395.

Another way to get an eco coat is to buy a second hand coat.  Obviously, there are lots available in charity shops around the country, but if you prefer online ordering, then check out Oxfam‘s online selection.

For warmer days, there’s this Yellow Orly Kiely Trench Coat from Peopletree.  Inside it’s fully lined with a leaf print design and there’s a gentle, gathered detail at both the shoulder and cuff. It sports a matching belt and wide buttoned pleat at back.  Made in 100% organic Fairtrade certified cotton in India, it’s priced at £75.
